We define a group as 8 or more students (young people or adults) with the same level of Spanish, who book, travel and arrive together. This course format is specially designed for schools, universities, companies, associations, etc.
These special Spanish courses for groups of adults can be run at any time of year, but not normally during July and August, for a group of young people. Course dates, course intensity, programme details including inclusive excursions and activities, class size, accommodation requirements are all negotiable.
Alhambra Instituto in Malaga has a wealth of experience in tailor making programmes for adults and young people and welcomes all enquiries.
The Spanish courses for groups are offered at all levels, from Beginners to Advanced throughout the year. Spanish for groups of Company Employees: these specialist Spanish language courses are prepared for groups of people working in one company, either in Spain or overseas.
Clear, systematic programmes We know that time is precious! Each General Spanish lesson is carefully structured to give you practice in all communication skills, including speaking, listening, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. We specialise in tailor-made courses either for groups or on a one to one basis. Fast-moving and dynamic All of our Spanish courses are clearly designed with structured lessons and specific objectives. You will have regular homework which is carefully marked by your teacher and returned to you promptly. Your Spanish language is reviewed and recycled regularly, but we will never waste your time repeating the same lessons or the same books.
Learn the language you need Often you can express yourself in basic Spanish, but you would like to use more natural, richer, native-speaker language. During your lesson your teacher is always attentive to notice, as you speak, the language that you need and will teach you this immediately, writing lesson notes for you to take home and review. We call this reformulation: helping you to put your ideas into the best Spanish.
Your mistakes corrected Making mistakes is a natural part of learning a language, but sometimes you need a teacher to tell you where you're going wrong. Our teachers are careful to 'tidy up' your language, helping you speak more accurately and with greater confidence. You might be surprised at how quickly you can improve!
Your questions answered immediately Feel free to ask your teacher directly about grammar, meanings, pronunciation, etc..
Focus on conversation and pronunciation Our pronunciation lessons focus on the features of spoken Spanish that are the most challenging, such as linking, sentence stress, intonation. With our direct teaching approach, your teacher can listen closely to how you speak and give you help where you most need it. What's more, pronunciation lessons are recorded on a home study Mp3 or Ipod device, so that you can practise and review between lessons.
Lesson management At One to One Spanish, it's mainly your teacher that you speak with in class, not just other classmates, and our teachers are highly skilled at effective lesson management. In speaking classes, this means that you always have plenty to talk about and discuss, and you will be able to keep talking throughout your conversation lesson. That's the best way to practise your language skills and activate your vocabulary.
Relax! It's often hard to speak out in large groups of strangers. That way you can relax, you have time to say what you want, your teacher will listen to you and help you. There's no pressure. When you enjoy studying, you learn much better.
All teachers qualified, friendly and experienced All of our experienced teachers hold a University degreean are experienced in teaching Spanish to foreigners, as well as having trained in direct teaching methods. With a wide range of backgrounds and teaching experience, they share a passion for teaching and a commitment to their students' development.
Flexibility Part-Time and Full-Time courses are available for all levels, and you can choose one-to-one or three-to-one. Choose one-to-one for individualised courses and maximum flexibility; choose three-to-one for the outstanding value of studying in a very small group. |
